This song is another bit of proof that Paul is not a talented song writer at all! He can play a guitar, play drums, and even play my male organ(very well) but he can not write music and is definatley not the"brains of the beatles"

Yes George did write a few great songs, but how can you say hes better than John one of the ALL TIME greatest. George was better than Paul though. Pauls songs are only good for hearing not listening too. Anyhow, yes I do remember George sayig this song was not about Patti, but maybe he was bitter when he said that.

Yes the song was originally writen by Jake Holmes, but in an interview he stated that it was about a girl that was playing with his emotions and not acid or any other drug.

Paul has said it out of his own mouth atleast two times on tape that Yellow Submarine was influenced by something Ringo said when Paul, John, and Ringo were together tripping on LSD. First time was when he was asked in a interview what the song meant back in the 70's and the second time on the beatles anthology. By the way, the beatles are very important band because they were way ahead of thier time and the music they made seems to still have good taste.
