I didn't read all the comments because there's too many, but I have something to add. Sort of a question I guess? Okay I understand 100% how watching someone die, and being with them even though it's killing you too is part of love. But what about situations where people are doing things that are going to eventually get them killed, like say really hard drugs. How is it love to just sit there and watch them die, instead of doing something to try to save them? Maybe this wasn't a situation that was considered when the lyrics were written? Any insight on this? Thanks! |
