Has anyone noticed the story that this album takes? QUEEN B: Boy meets girl, falls in love DOZO: Boy and girl have sex VAGINA MINE: Boy and girl have more sex MOMMA SED: Girl dumps boy, boy heartbroken UNDERTAKER: Boy gets angry and tells her off DRUNK W.P: Boy feels sorry for himself gets drunk TREKKA: Boy smokes pot INDIGO C: Boy trips out SOUR GRAPES: Boy turns to religion :-P REV 20.20: Boy comes to the conclusion.. needs another girl Just something I noticed. Dunno if Maynard did this on purpose or I'm just reading too into it, but it seems to me there is a story to be told.. |

Until I was put in the same situation I just thought this song was about drugs, or the whole idea of love not being enough to make you happy. Or more drugs. IMHO this is about him and his girlfriend, both of which are in love and love one another BUT things like fighting or whatever emotional issues get in the way and are too much for them to stay together. Love is not enough for them to stay together. You can both love each other, but sometimes it is not enough to stay in a relationship, especially if one person wants something the other doesn't (The most common example, marriage and kids). You can both tell yourselves lies to keep the relationship going, but sooner or later the fights come out again and it just won't last. Read the lyrics again and it all applies. |

As with most songs on the Process, Morter has the whole religion/cult/consciousness theme going. To me it sounds like he's talking to the priest/preacher (Teller) and basically saying to free your mind, find your own (uniqueness) sense of existence, and progress yourself into the world instead of just being morter doing nothing more than filling the holes within to give a sense of answers to the unknown. Don't just give up and become addicted to the mass herds, create your own path. |

Killing Game = Ogre's near fatal life while shooting up &$#@ Check out interview archieves for the meanings to alot of SP songs... seems alot of the lyrics are either views on social issues or ogres personal life. Although people should always find personal meanings to songs...... some of the ones people come up with for Skinny Puppy are so down right bizarre it scares me. People link them to free mansonry and serial killers it gets crazy |

F.O.M = "Fat O Metre"? That the only real link I can find with the title, which is apparently something farmers and meat industry use to check the levels of fat after slaughtering animals. Although IMO this song is not about any one specific thing or person, just a very brutal and despressing look into the dark void of Raymond's mind... |

Ogre's lyrics are often so cryptic he has many times said that he just leaves it up to people to find their own meaning to it. Though the lyrics ARE always very personal, and the basis to which this song was written, well... he has stated that with Warlock, the girl he was dating at the time had blue hair... you can probably put it all together from there.
