| Alright- first things first: This is quite possibly one of the catchiest songs EVER written. Great, great song. Taken as is, it's not really that funny. But when you take in account the scene for which it it used in Life of Brian, that's where the song becomes hilarious. I mean, it's just brilliant. | |

| Ehh, I don't get what's so great about this song. It's like all the bad broken heart love song cliches have clashed together in the style of country music (which is horrible enough as it is) to produce a song that reminds me lyrically of something Hanson or the Backstreet Boys would write. Well, it's not like the Backstreet Boys wrote their own lyrics anyways... But you get the idea. Yay for the revival of cheesy mid-90s pop music a la modern day Country. | |

Bono: Oh, I don't seem to remember any. I don't have many memories of my childhood. [Pause] I think I can remember my eighteenth birthday, because I wrote a song on it, called "Out of Control". I remember holding the guitar, my brother's acoustic guitar. The fret action was a little out of whack, and I had to press quite hard on it.
