I love this song, it's fantastic. I love that after the second chorus they just break out into this hard, guitar driven bridge, and they're still able to smoothly trnasition back to the original melody afterwards. I have News of the World on vinyl, and the lyrics for this song on there have Acts 1,2 atc. written before each verse. I always thought that was cool the way they paralleled this song to be kind of like a play. I love this song!!

I agree with everyone who said they get bothered with the whole Queen=gay thing, it is really annoying. Besides, this song is on A Day At The Races, one of their earlier albums, so was Freddie even into all that homosexual stuff at that time anyway? I always thought that this song was just about Freddit Mercury saying how he enjoyed being a classy guy. I love this song and I think it fits his personality so well.

This song is just so amazing, you can feel the passion that went into writing it, and it's just fantastic. I really don't know what it means, but to me Freddy Mercury has always seemed so sad a person, like he's just searching fo something, and I always just thought this song was like an explosion of feeling and want for something more in life.

What I love about this song is that even if it is about space travel (which I had no clue, now it makes a lot more sense) it's done in such a beautiful, poetic way that you would never think to call it corny like many songs with ideas like that are.

Glacion I don't understand why you have to be so hostile. If you read the play and really thought about it and the song, you would be able to see how May put that title in their for a better reason than just throwing it in a song.
