Here's what I got out of listening to the song: I think this is a continuation of the whole "six degrees" series, kinda like root of all evil is a continuation of the alchoholism theme. It has the same vibe as a lot of the other songs on that album and many prases are similar too.
I think this song is about a hippy who got burnt out during the 70's and has flashbacks. |

This song is about the dumbasses who live for weed. I used to smoke weed a lot, but you need to learn and grow out of it. It's really a childish drug and it doesn't make you "understand" the universe any better; It doesn't make you dumber either, at least not too much dumber. I smoked lots of pot my freshmen year in college and made it on the dean's list for computer science. If you are a dumbass before you smoke pot you're going to be a bigger dumbass while you smoke pot. If you're smart and smoke pot you eventually learn from it and realize that it's good when used sparingly (extremely sparingly in my case). But learn that life is so much bigger than what you see and there are infinite possibilities. If you are smoking pot, realize that it's cool for now, maybe it's not your time to change, but when it is, LISTEN TO YOURSELF! There's a world of love out there waiting for you to experience it. |

I'm thinking that mabe this song goes along with Nature Boy. Mud says that some dude told him that his name was short for Alowishus Devadander Abercrombie and on Nature Boy the guy has a "cat" named Alowishus who he strokes all the time. Mabe Aluwishus (AKA Mud) got pissed off at the dude using him that way and finally just killed him. Primus has some crazy lyrics...... Pork Soda is amazing. |
