The Variable: I didn't have to google anything. I am Portuguese and can speak it, which is why I was annoyed at MIA's errors. And I love M.I.A. but sampling from different cultures, an innovator does not make. Being an innovator but be doing something completely new on her own. Instead she borrows from reggae and baile funk. Not that that's bad, but still. |

I hate this. Why is the song called "Hombre" and she's saying or at least tryin to rap/sing in Portuguese? Then call the song "Homem", as is the word for "man" in Portuguese. And the Portuguese lyrics are wrong. Oi, garoto Pega minha numero Liga, you teaser Liga para mim, please sir And the correct way to would be "meu numero" but oh well. |
