this is like one of my fav songs ever. so funny mostly bc it makes no sense. i guess there can be some sense in a few of the lines but that is totally not the point. it is so random and that is why i love it.
but am i the only one who thinks that the way he says 'splinters' is hilarious? i dont kno there is something about it, it cracks me up every time. |

i love the song and i think it is awesome. but i want to point out that lemmings do not actually jump off of cliffs and committ suicide because they are following each other...that is a myth that was popularized by some movie. nevertheless people think it is the truth and it makes a great symbol for the song. just wanted to clear it up. |

cauterized is to deaden feelings or morals. in general terms a litmus test is a test in which only factor determines the outcome (it has a political meaning too and one relating to science but the are not really relavent). pretty much self-explanatory from here on out. |

the song is about population control by government where people are assigned a number and picked by lottery and when ur # comes up you die. The guy singing is the programmer and his # came up, 156, so he is going to die. duh.
