Billy Joel – Leningrad Lyrics | 17 years ago |
This is a true story of when Billy Joel went to Lenigrad during the Cold War. He met a clown, who's job was to make people laugh in the midst of all the pain and depression. "He made my daughter laugh, then we embraced" He was amazed at how this man could make it daughter laugh through all the drama so we wanted to learn more about him. He did and he made a sotry about it. |

Billy Joel – Big Shot Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I agree with pbattin.. It's about him getting drunk and saying things he regreted the next morning. The line "all your friends were so knocked out" could either mean they were laughing at him even so he kept going, or they were floored because they were shocked. I have had plenty of these nights, when I wake up the next morning and I'm like WTF. |
Train – Cab Lyrics | 18 years ago |
I love this song. But there is just one thing I don't get. Maybe I don't understand the song, but.. what does the main line mean? "Sometimes I think I'm the only cab on the road." -- the song seems to mean to me that he is lonely.. but if he was the only cab on the road wouldnt he not be lonely cuz every1 would wanna go with him? |
