this song describes my situation perfectly. the relationship ive just been through... the song is incredibly vague. and thats the sign of a good song writer, because people can relate on so many levels. to me, its remembering an old relationship, and it ties pretty strongly... Summer has come and passed The innocent can never last - we had problems in summer, this is when she cheated on me, and it made all of our older memories lose their innocence. as my memory rests but never forgets what I lost -simple but great line, people can relate on so many levels, i have strong memories, and i wont forget them. and finally wake me up when september ends -i held it off before breaking up with her, in september, she cheated on me again, and i had to end it. the hardest thing ive ever had to do.. and even after that, i still love her |
