This song makes me sad, because a best friend of mine just married a guy from south africa, and all his friends were coming to ameica, to work here for nine months, and they ended up living right beside me, and i started hooking up with this guy he was absolutely beautiful, the language barrier was tough sometimes, he did speak english, but didin't understand the "ameican slang" we fell in love with each other but i couldn't be with him because i knew it wasn't going to work he was leaving all the way across the world, and he would always play this song for me, and tell me i can't help you fix yourself because i was always depressed and didn't know why, but he was hurt by it, and now he is gone. everytime i am driving and it comes on the radio i want to turn it but i can't and it sucks because i keep having flashbacks of us together. |

This song is so true, almost everyone can relate to it. It's about knowing or seeing someone you think is incrediable and knowing you can never be with them. Just like me, i am with someone i know he loves me very much, and love him with great admiration, but i'm with him to make my parents happy and because he can give me a good life, and there is someone else that i used to date, and it was this emotional rollercoaster before we broke it off and now he hangs out with all of us, and there's always that eye contact we have, and it's like the song says "it's time to face the truth, i will never be with you". |

I love this song, it reminds me of how i felt in one of my relationships, i truley loved this person and it killed me to not be with him, but i was physically and emotionally burn out i was tired of trying and trying to work it out. it is a beautiful song, with so much heart, i want to cry everytime i hear this song. |

This has got to be one of the most beautiful love songs ever! I listen to it all the time. It reminds me of a lot of by exes. Telling each other we need time and space and then when we are ready we will return to each other and telling each other we will be there no matter whats. It's about wanting to hold on to something so much. It saddens me in a way, because it makes me think i'll never feel that way about people the way i thought about them when i was younger, in that innocent way. |

This song is so touching if you really listen to it. It's about growing up and it's kind of bittersweet. It reminds me of an old boyfriend from high school and my early college years, and how innocence fades away from us, and how the people that have affected your life the most and made you who you are today, aren't really around anymore because we grow from that, and move on. It's a very depressing song in a way, but it's the best and i love it. |
