holiDAZE is the correct song title. i relate far too well with this song. i'd like to know the meaning from their side though. for me... my family is broken into a ton of pieces due to divorce. my dad's getting remarried and always off with her. my sister lives in nyc and is always either there or with her boyfriend. my mom is a whole other story. for all of the mostly unimportant holidays (easter this sunday)i'm alone. doing exactly what this song describes. |

i think this is all about the scene. the kids that come out, make shows sold out shows. "in rooms packed from window to wall" i think it was directed to the fans and they're showing their appreciation "They are the ones who make a difference, get these people on their feet." and in response to the lyric. kids know them and they play little venues that are sprinkled around little towns. not big venues that people know everywhere. mmm i like. |
