I love this song so very much. It just makes me feel so sad, but its so beautiful. Reminds me of someone i loved. I think this song is simply about love, true and simple love. I think that it does refer to Delilah and Samson, specifically when she talks about not being able to break the columns down. But i think that perhaps the man she was comparing samson to, the man she loved, was dying. I do get that impression.

This songs so nice! I think its just a song about someone watching their child growing up, and drifting away. Sad in a small sort of way, because it'll always be that people grow up, want a life of their own, have a family, and just when their growing more and more attatched to their family, the children become less and less. |

I love this song, because the music just sounds like a sad cold wind. It's perfect, the relationship between the words and music and the meaning and the feelings. I'm pretty sure its about a death, or maybe a dissapearance. Something final and self inflicted though, i think. |

I love this song. Such lovley memories :)
I think its most likley not a very deep song, about someone who makes him (whichever one) happy, and that their thankful to 'the chief' ie God i presume, for their meeting and existance. And that so long as the sun shines on leith, he'll thank him. I do love this song, whatever it means |

Suprisingly anti bush. communist hints too. I personally think it's a very strong song. But yes terrifingly hypocritical in parts. I wonder if the guy who wrote the lyrics acctually has an opinion on world issues and war, capitalism, racial segregation- all the song talks about, or if he was just pandering to the current universal mood to get records sold. Pity if its the latter. music is such a massive source of motivation, its thought provoking very influential, very powerful and very efffective to the brain. Black eyed peas are not my kind of music, but this song is interesting. |
