Great song, great lyrics. We need more rap like this to counter the MTV generation of moronic raps which usually include how rich, famous, and lucky they are when it comes to women. This is the kind of music that will save hip hop. |

PeeWee, Jimi Hendrix was very influential, but that doesnt mean he laid the 'groundwork' for Stevie's career. And when it comes to technical ability and PURE SKILL - SRV puts Jimi to utter shame. Jimi was sloppier than Puerto Rican prostitute pussy and when it came to sounding good live he just left something to be desired. But, for his time, he was awesome and opened doors for a lot of guitarists. But think about the airplanes in 40's ... they laid the groundwork for newer, more modern planes, and the new ones are far superior - yet wouldn't exist without the earlier models. And until you have some credentials to critique someone's guitar playing ability - I'd strongly suggest you keep quiet. Is it not better to look like an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt? |
