Linkin Park – What I've Done Lyrics

The video for "What I've Done" shows the song in a hole different light.
In the video, there are clips of wars, scandals, global warming, etc. and I think that the song is trying to say that we can fix all of this by starting over. For so long, we have denied global warming, let conflicts between countries continue and haven't really learned from the past. If we just face the music, and try to work on all of these issues, the future may not look quite so bleak.
I was expecting a bit more from the single, but of course this is the only song out at the moment, so I hope that the album is as eclectic as the band says it is. And Mike, what's with the "na na na"'s at the end? Siiiiing! |

I think that instead of taking a chance and possibly being let down, he always keeps people at arm's length even though he doesn't really want to. Always on the outside, looking in. |

That's a surprise to me :D Especially since many Sigur Ros songs are sing in a made-up language. |

Kenna – Face the Gun Lyrics

"Their black gold eyes"
-I think- is a reference to The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury, which includes a story Dark They Were, and Golden Eyed but I'm not sure.
"We’re taking on Mr. Orwell’s master plan"
A reference to Nineteen Eight Four? I think this song is about young people's outlook on what is happening to our world today and what we are told to believe vs. what we believe gathered from our own observations. The Nineteen Eighty Four reference would make sense, since some believe that the United States will one day turn into a totalitarian government.
Kenna wants us to not be afraid of the future that is to come, and instead of ignoring the problem, to stand up to it. Great song. |

I can really relate to this song, since I always see people I know changing and am shocked when people tell me that I am a different person that I was a few years ago. Only now am I seeing the good and bad in people, and realizing that there are some very good people in this world, but at the same time some very bad people. I hope that one day that I will able to understand people and the thoughts behind their motives, and to make some sense of it all. |

I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's about giving up on love and not feeling loved by anyone (romantically or not), and then someone coming into your life and changing your mind and being that "one" person who brought you out of that darkness.
Why hasn't anyone commented on this song yet? It's amazing. |

Ivy – Feel So Free Lyrics

It's about taking a chance with someone that either you tell yourself or others say you shouldn't be with. You grab at that oppertunity, and you feel better than you ever have before.
Or it's about talking to an old friend about a struggle in your life and feeling so freed by talking about it. |

Wow, this song is like a flashback to when the song was first released in the early 90's. I was 9 years old, and loved this song because her voice is so smooth and lovely. Whenever I listen to this song, I remember my friends and life back then. |

This song is really by Tiesto...
Anyways, this song is about losing yourself and not understanding yourself. Once you re-discover/evaluate what you want in life, you will be a better person. |

I think it's about an old relationship that ended because the other died. The one who died wants the other to know that he wants to be remembered, and not to remember him as just some fling from a long time ago. Maybe he encouraged them to persue their dreams, and without his encouragement it would have never happened. |

I've never tried to draw a meaning from Porcelain before. It's a beautiful song. If I had to think of a meaning, it's about breaking someone's heart and feeling bad and regretting what was done. |

I think it's about a girl that can't face real life and so she lives in an altered state of reality and lets people manipulate who she is/what she sees. |
