i was at the 9:30 club show in DC where he recorded the live version of this...that tour was so cool b/c it was so intimate and the stories he told about all of the songs were so interesting and hilarious (like this one)...his next tour sucked...he played big venues (losing the intimacy), played with Guster for some reason, and he played every song exactly the same as he did on the piano tour...i think its time to bring back Mr Jesse and Mr Sledge ben |
