Honestly why do people have to be such haters? In Flames is an amazeing band but not my style of music of choice, i look for the more heavey/guitar baced band. Avenge Sevenfold is pretty mainstream, but they have 2 amazeing guitar players and Atreu is mainstream but puts on one of the best shows ive seen. Slipknot has an extreamly good Drummer, singer, and guitarest but i dont listen to them either. Just because you dont like a certian band's sound or the choices they make doesent make them any less talented. All that Remains is one of my faveoret bands and this is a really good song from them.. they dident fucking "ripoff" In Flames. Your all kinda retarted if you ask me... |

I love Killswitch. I think its a shame how they changed so much and are all about being radio friendly now. There amazeing and this whole CD has alot or value to me. I still listen to it all the time. This is probubly my faveoret song on it. |

Pink Floyd is my faveoret band, and Led Zepp is close second, but you still have to look at the fact they they can play there instament extreamly well and just because they write shitty lyrics doesent make them a shitty band... |

Okay. Let me explain. I'm not a big corpse fan. I like there guitar playing and drumming and Corpse Grinder is a sick vacalist. The lyrics are funny... but dont really require much writeing skill. I can understand why people who dont listen to the actual music might think there talentless just by reading it. So i ask all of you to listen to some of these songs, and hear how insane they are musically. Then make your judgement. |

this song to me has alot of meaning. i feel that it somehow represents bi-polor and split personalities. Not just in the lyrics but the music itself. " i felt the fear rise up in me" the anger and aloter ego is takeing over "Kneel down and clear the stone of leaves" clear away the normal self and expose the evil and anger inside. "I wander out where you can't see" the true self is leaveing, and is un-noticeable "Inside my shell, I wait and bleed" the "shell" means the person's anger is waiting inside of him, and waiting to expose itself. When he says "goodbye" its his concious self leaveing his body. The whole first verse i think is saying that the anger is slowly takeing over the concious body, and who the peson really is is going to another dimension of some sort... wile his anger takes over his body. (note his screams are not that loud and shattering, and the music isent that heavy). The next verse is his wakeing back up and realizeing that he has sinned and killed/hurt someone who was possibly close to him"I - HAVE - SINNED - BY - JUST
Makin' my mind up and takin' your breath away" and as bad as he feels he is saying that he is also a victim of his own anger "I'm a victim - Manchurian Candidate "GET OUTTA MY HEAD CUZ I DON'T NEED THIS!" (note the guitars got heaver and so did the singing). The 3rd verse is saying that he cant learn to cope with his anger and nothing he does can make it stop and once again not that the music is once again heavyer and so is the singing. Finally the last part is saying that "AND IT WAITS FOR YOU" witch means that the anger is waiting for someone else to piss him off enoght for the anger to come out once again and have controll of his body. The reason y i made a note of the music and singing progressivly getting louder and heavyer is symbolizeing that the anger is takeing over. This is only my thought and i love this song, its my faveoret song from them and i invite people to ask me about y i think certian thing or correct me or add there 2 cents... i just ask that you respet that this is only my opinon and everybody has the right to voice theirs. |
