It really doesn't surprise me that everyone's commented on this. Become a REAL fan kids, no-one goes and comments on songs like jotun and food for the gods, instead it's all 'lets comment on the new shit!' which, in all fairness is good, but NOTHING compared to their old music. Even live they said that their favourite song was the first song of the first album, behind space. Pull your heads outta your asses kids and listen to real IF. Good song though |

These eyes, they bleed, for you. there's the utterance of 'i'll crawl through knives just to...' and i can't hear it because it trails off, but it definitely says it. anyway, for the new album, this is really promising. i respect these, and hope they manage to pull out another fantastic album, because i've enjoyed every piece they've composed. |

i've commented on another song, and i listen to metal, alot. but this song is as beautiful as any of my favourite songs of all time, but i think that it's highlighting problems in this song people should stop. His death among other amazing artists should inspire YOU and everyone else to stop discriminating against music tastes, and defining the difference on clothes and behaviour, and accept everyone so the beauty like this can be enjoyed by everyone together. if you disagree, please don't make an argument, i respect this man, dead or not, and i think that what i think is right. respect my opinion, i ask you, please. :) |

i'll say this like i have before, i like metal, so i'm not a rap fan, and you can say anything you like about that but it's true. but I can say i respect this man an infinite amount for just being able to produce a song like this. I know it's thanking his mother, but it's appologising for all the things he put her through, it's subliminally trying to tell everyone not to make his mistakes, because it'll put them in the same situations as he's experienced, until he inevitably 'met his maker' so to speak. I just think it's another artist that's gone, for no reason. People should just realise that killing any artist that produces music that's honest, and heartfelt is insanity. People who do that should realise the pain they're causing, and the music they're preventing. Hate me all you want, but it's what i feel is right. Call me whatever you want for liking metal and rock and other genres, but i KNOW that this is just the same as deaths in rock, i don't care about stereotypes because any destruction of music which is so beautiful is wrong, and people should come together and stop this happening, because it's not right. atall. |

I'm a metal fan. and that's my favourite sort of music. I went to the UK taste of chaos tour to meet killswitch engage. I walked in when these guys were playing All i can say, is that these guys are first of all REALLY nice in person, and are so amazingly down to Earth too, but... Man was i wrong about this band from what i'd already heard. Their music is NOT original. But live, they had so much passion, so much flare, and so much emotion and feeling that it was an experience compared to any of the metal bands i've seen. Their music may not be fantastic off a CD, and they may be 'just another screamo band' but they're hearts and souls are in this band, and you can tell from seeing them sweat after one song on stage, seeing his eyes bulge when he screams. I really don't like some parts of this song, for example 'my hands around your throat etc.' and the slow down, but that made to difference live, because he was nearly crying with emotion. This is an opinion changing experience, and should be for anyone. I advise ANYONE and EVERYONE to watch these guys, because they could change you. drastically. But that's just me. thanks anyway x] |

| Goddammit, it's NOT just linkin freakin park, they aren't the only people involved, Wayne Static from Static-X is involved, considering he does a majority of the guitars in all, and the riffs infact sound NOTHING like the stuff Linkin Park pump out on every single freakin record, and anyway, this song sucks. Wayne, as unspecial as he is, wasted his time here when he should of been working with static-x. Their first album although with not so upbeat lyrics, the general sound was such in songs like 'Stay With me' and 'New Beginnings' but i don't think that a darker yet more emotional side of finch being revealed is a bad thing, and aslong as they keep doing what they feel they need to, then i'll respect them. | |
