My favourite The 1975 song. I think the lyrics are self explanatory - you might not want to be with somebody anymore but you still don't want to see them with somebody else... |

Seems to me she is in a club, sees a guy she wants, knows he is married but just wants a night with him and is not shy in telling him so! |

I think this song is about meeting somebody you think you could fall in love with, having never fallen in love before. However, this person is scared to love and would rather have not been in this situation in the first place as it would be easier to deal with... |

| CeeLo Green – It's OK Lyrics

I think this is about a guy who's split up with his girlfriend but has lingering thoughts and feelings about her. It seems that she's told him the relationship was a mistake and he's slept around a bit since the relationship ended ('I've gotten around ever since you've been gone') and in doing so has realised that she was a one off and no one can replace her (I thought that once you had one you had every woman, Until I lost this legendary woman, now I'm sure that they don't make'em like her anymore). He's telling her in this song, 'it's OK to admit that you still love me and think of me as I do too'. Ultimately he's hoping that they'll get back together...

I think what he's trying to say is that his sister would put him before herself but that in the past he has resented this, found it hard to accept and has lashed out at her. It sounds to me like he feels that family should be family and no more - not best friends etc. He's apologising for lashing out at her but he knows he'll continue to feel this way. It's basically about their different views on each other and family. |

Me too! In that respect, I think the song represents a person who has been trying to live in the same way to 'stay young' whilst watching other people in their lives moving on and growing up. For Del Boy, that meant he'd been messing around with different women and nothing had changed over the years - he was still the same whilst Rodders had grown up and moved on. In effect, he's been 'holding back the years' and realised it was time for them to catch up with him i.e. he needed to move on from the life he'd been living. That's my interpretation anyway. |

Eva died in 1996 and the Cancer Research Advert came out around 3 years ago - so it's obvious that they choose this song because the artist died from cancer herself. It certainly worked for me but then I was already donating anyway. |

To me, this song signifies a person who has, for the first time, had feelings for someone that he's never experienced before. But in that, he doesn't know what feelings he has - he doesn't know if it's love because he's not been there before.
So he's saying, because he is scared, he'd rather go back to 'being lonely and confused' as he was before he met this person - ultimately it seems, because he is too scared to do anything further. Hence wanting to 'turn a different corner'.
That's what it means to me, anyway. |

I love this song too... but one thing really bugs me... if the relationship was that good and 'we were bigger than anything'...why did the relationship 'die'? I wish the song explained that part! |

I think this song represents everything that is meant to be good in life, and asks why some good things last forever and others don't; 'If Jesus Christ is alive and well, then how come John & Elvis are dead?'. |

I love this song, what she is saying is so true- sometimes the thing you love the most you must 'set free' in order for it to be truly yours if/when it comes back to you. |

I thought 'Dandelion' was referring to her rocky relationship with her Mother? Are the boy and girl not referring to her brother and sister? |

I think this song is about somebody that has passed and because they were so close, she is feeling consumed by the fact that she is left alone to reminise about the days gone by. She is haunted by the past, and can't move on. She also seems to feel that she was the strength in the relationship, and so did not have the support she thought she had when the person was alive- in their passing she has somehow realised that she was alone in life as she is now in 'death' as it were. |
