whether isaac is a bad person or not for doing drugs, i respect him for how amazing he is. if he decides to quit the drugs to better himself as a person and sacrifice the goodness of the music, i, as a fan, am more than happy to support him in his decisions. if by quitting drugs means that modest mouse turns into something like the backstreet boys, i'd buy their album, no matter how shitty, simply because i'm a fan and i support them no matter what. |

yeah, i can't get high and listen to this song, even though it's one of my all-time favorites.. i just break down and start crying. it reminds me of all my petty problems...
as you guys said, the lines
"I like songs about drifter-books about the same.
They both seem to make me feel a little less insane"
"The moths beat themselves to death against the lights."
are simply amazing. they make me feel so inadequate and alone.
also, "my thoughts were so loud i couldn't hear my mouth," probably refers to just saying what's on your mind without realizing what you're actually saying |

Dramamine is just about being stuck in a relationship.(for educational purposes, you can trip on dramamine as well as get drunk on listerine.) in the song, he's simply compairing a bad relationship to overdosing on dramamine. |
