It is beautiful. it seems to be about a relationship that has gone sour, one person holds a lot of resent towards the other and the other is saying, you know if it makes you feel better better to bitch me out fine, because I know I'm better than that.

I remember this song from when I was younger, this is such a girl power song....It just reminds me of a woman who is proud of who she is and wants everyone to know, especially who it's directed to, that she's not changing. It also reminds me of this message I heard about when I was younger...There's more to a woman than just being a female, she's everything all at once.

amazing song, awesome lyrics and it just makes you want to dance with joy (you cannot be unhappy after listening to it..I tried..impossible). It's so infectious too. It doesn't use the usual cliched lyrics to express itself. I think it's about love and how it leaves you feeling content. I always imagine this is the way true love feels.

sounds like someone went to the same highschool as me and wrote a song about it :P It really does sound like that process you go through when people don't accept you and bitch you out, it's like they must all know something about you to be so cold and unaccepting. You want to be accepted but you pretend to not care but secretly you think there must be something about you...until you get older and you realise that isn't the case...they just suck arse :P

whilst I believe it's a song about not feeling good enough for the gift he's been given I really didn't think it's about amy I thought it was about his kid. I've heard many a man lament that he was not good enough to have such a beautiful thing as a child in his life because he was too drunk/drugged or just a just a plain arsehole. I guess it's because it reminds me of my dad.

sorry LaDiablo but this is not the original song. The original song was JUST seether, in fact it's about his baby girl and wife before he left. Amy was only added after they sold him the idea by convincing him the song would have some significance in the film but it didn't and he wasn't best pleased, it's in an interview somewhere. That whole amy was supposed to be in it from the start wasn't even known by Seether till Amy told him they wanted her to be in it but changed their minds. Not that I hate this version I just prefer the original as it's more raw than this one.

I heard it was a self harm song.....self destruction, you know it's wrong but it's the only thing that makes sense but as well as making you feel 'right' it's also killing everything you are. The 'No one's gonna catch you when you fall' part means this is something that you can't tell people about so when you do slip up again you're on your own.

I also think it's about their career, like he's given up a lot to get where he is now but he misses everything that he has lost. He's at a crossroads because he wants to be with his family but he's also given up too much to just give up now, he also has obligations he can't run away from now. He's lonely because everyone thinks because he's got what he worked hard for that he should be happy but he's not.

I think it's basically about screwing up over and over but not showing it to anyone until the point where there's too much pressure to cope on your own that you turn to more destructive ways of getting through life. You don't want to let anyone know how you really feel out of fear of being weak or of disappointing people who you might care about.

I think it's about a girl who got into so many destructive relationships that she couldn't see that this time there was a guy who might of cared if she opened up to him. I think he's saying that to love her he would have to prepare to accept this pain of hers as his own, in a way paying for loving her by knowing the person you care about in this world is so unhappy. There is also an element of guilt to it, he feels bad because he didn't see the real her.
