On the studio version of the song, the line is "Everything looks worse in black-and-white", but on the Live in Central Park concert they sing "Everything looks better in black-and-white"... I wonder why? |

Yeah, it's about a 20-day-old baby dying of starvation. Not in a hospital per se, but in the inescapable poverty of the third world. It's a horribly depressing song, but powerful. |

When I was young, I thought this song was about the pill. Seriously. Beautiful song, though... very optimistic song... the contrast with the violence and tragedy of the movie is startling, and beautiful. |

I think it's "A roly poly Santa Claus, to add a little spice." I used to think he was saying "dead on a spike"!
Anyway, I love this song too. |

| Matthew Wilder – Break My Stride Lyrics

The song is about the guy's girlfriend breaking up with him. She makes a clean break from him and moves on nicely. He then does the same thing. The chorus applies to her at first, and then later to him. Even though it's about breaking up, it has a very positive message -- for both characters. Plus it's just so freaking catchy. :) |

This song's music was used for Gangsta's Paradise by Coolio. It's obvious if you hear both songs, but lots of people seem to not have heard of Pastime Paradise... which is a shame, since this is an awesome song. |

Actually it's a reference to "The Newhart Show" which featured three hick brothers named Larry, Daryl, and Daryl. Larry would always introduce them as "Hi, I'm Larry, this is my brother Daryl, and this is my other brother Daryl."
So you're basically right, he's saying the guy is a hick... he's just doing it in a very clever way.
This song owns. |

This song was originally called "Bang Bang (You're Dead)" and had completely different lyrics, but Ozzy's label wasn't too thrilled about releasing a song with that title, so he retooled it into what we have here.
I just submitted the lyrics to "Bang Bang (You're Dead)" so hopefully you can read them. The original song is on Ozzy's "Prince of Darkness" box set. |

I've always thought this song was about opium... but it could be about marihuana, or even tobacco... either way, I love it. \m/>_ |

Psycho_pr is the one who overdosed, it seems. I really, really want to know where the HELL these lyrics came from. They're not even remotely close to the real lyrics. But what's weird is that they're not just random gibberish; they have a common theme to them (choir practice), which makes it seem like the song was intentionally written as a parody. But, these lyrics cannot be found anywhere else on the Internet, which leads me to believe that Psycho_pr guessed at the lyrics by listening to the song... and just guessed very, very poorly. |

Not to pull hairs, but the title of this great song is just "Superman," not "I'm No Superman." It's track 3 on Lazlo Bane's 2002 album "All the Time in the World." |

It really, really sounds like he's saying "suck on my big ten inch" instead of "'cept for my big ten inch"... unless that's just what I (and so many others) want to hear... |
