| Slipknot – Wait And Bleed Lyrics

unfortunately, slipknot have become more of a cult than a band. theres waaaay too much stuff about whose a 'true' maggot, who the tryhard listeners are, who has the proper authority to listen too them... etc.
I remember back in the day when me and my mates would listen to slipknot and enjoy the music coz it got us pumped and it was truly awesome. the attitude surrounding the band these days is too much now and has nearly put me off the band altogether. just listen to music because you enjoy it, not because you wont be a maggot if u dont... |

| Soulfly – Tribe Lyrics

I agree this is one of soulflys best. Its obviously about tribes and dedication to tribal culture and i'm not sure but i think soulfly may have some connection with that sort of thing. (The drum at the start of this song is awesome!!)
The last bit, from what i've gathered is all the different tribes from all over the world. Aboriginal are the tribe from my great country (Australia!!), Maoris are native to New Zealand, Zulu are from somewhere in Africa and they have a whole other song dedicated to the Mohicans (see L.O.T.M). I dont know any of the other ones. Maybe you do? |

Jesus was sent to be the saviour of mankind and this song seems to make it sound as if he was a big failure who just lived and died painfully. Jesus was actually God in flesh and was the saviour of mankind he never died he lives today as he will forever. |

captain farrel isnt the devil even though it said "but the devil take that woman". all that means is that molly betrayed him for captain farrel and farrel is just an innocent guy who deserved her more than he did. see the stickdeath filmclip at http://www.stickdeath.com/whisky.html (not sure if the url is right) and maybe you'll understand more |
