I love how the "Halt! Bleibt Stehen" in the first two verses can be construed as the narrator pleading for his tormenters to 'stop' in a literal sense, and then in the final verse the "bleibt stehen" can be seen as the narrator commanding his targets to 'stay still' and face their judgment. No band creates stories with their lyrics and music quite like Rammstein does. Simply brilliant stuff here. |

At first I waas pretty sure this song was about getting a handjob from a prostitute. (For example the first verse is a man feeling off tune or out of whack wants to get some hand sex)than the chorus describes the climax By basis in this meaning was that Sweden is very sexually liberated so they all must be horndogs. Than I realised this song is in and of a meaning by itself. It describe any sort of activity, whether being masturbation, pulling out the girl doesn't get pregnant, or anything, but whatever it may be in the end things(life) can be generally be spontaneous or random. Now the inspiration for the song however is another thing. Also, the life of a dog meaning is viable as well. |

The song is probably more about the pain/joy of two lovers breaking up because of them keeping secrets away from one another. The woman in the relationship however can't bear being without a lover but she continues to blame the partner for being a bad person etc. And the singer describes the viscious cycle that is the relationship. |

I think it's a story about a seemingly abusive parent.....and a depiquent girl and than the parent just snaps. if you listen to down with the sickness in the part where he's saying "no mommy don't hurt me etc" has some ties to this song.
