System of a Down – Kill Rock 'n' Roll Lyrics 18 years ago
Daron isn't taking over in anyway, this is going back to their roots. Before SOAD got big Daron was guitar and lead vocals. So for them it's normal. Also they aren't here to make music for us, they make music that they are proud of the fans are just along for the ride.

Pearl Jam – Hard to Imagine Lyrics 19 years ago
I think this is a war reflection song. Mainly, an older war, where people could only see the coverage on black and white TV. The story is about what is really going on behind all of the news, a story told by a veteran of that war, but no one wants to hear it. Then the second verse is about the veteran flashing back.

Tear into yourself cuttings on your arm
Heart-a-beatin', tickin' like a bomb
After having seen all that they saw

Then after they get back to the home country everythings changed. It's hard for them to grasp.

That is what I think of whe I hear this song.

Pearl Jam – Evacuation Lyrics 19 years ago
There's like, two lines in the whole song that can be even remotely connected to "ejaculation". I'd like to read the interview, and who was being interviewed. The band is know for being sarcastic. Just think about the lyrics a bit.

The sirens scream wanton attention.
--Something is going to happen

Time to take heed and change direction.
Time to take stock and make omissions.
--prepare for the worst, vut your loses

Evacuation. Evacuation.
--Getting the hell out of the situation that went bad.

Time to take leave all formal functions.
Time to plant seeds of a reconstruction.
No time this time to feign reluctance.
--Starting over

It's like your waiting for a diamond shore to wash your way.
--You have to make stuff happen, and a lot of times its not always good.

Bets put aside you're evil. Lets crawl into your face.
--I don't quite understand this line,

A vision vague or not raising a frightful wake you up.
--The situation is not always clear, and it can mess with you, scare you a bit.

There was a solemn man. Watched his twilight disappear. In the sand.
--Another bad situation

Altered by a falling eagle. A warning sign. Sign.
--Sees the warning that this might go bad.

He sensed that worry could be strength with a plan he said, "Time for evacuation."
--The fact that he was worry about how this would turn out is actually good, because he now can get out of the situation.

Metallica – Thorn Within Lyrics 19 years ago
Bleeding Me and Thorn Within go together really well as Bleeding Me is about how the only thing holding us down is ourselves, and then in Thorn Within he goes and commits sins he had control of. And he is the reason he has the feelings of guilt.

The song is about foreseen situations you get yourself into. So good, some bad, but in the end it's always good to have an plan to get out of a bad situation.

Pearl Jam – All or None Lyrics 19 years ago
Like justiceforall said, I think it is about unrequited love, but I think it goes a bit deeper. I think it is about a friend in love with a friend.

CAN WE HELP THAT OUR DESTINATIONS ARE THE ONES WEVE BEEN BEFORE?
I think this line means that they have already gone through conflict together as friends.
