The song is great. I was a moderate Modest Mouse fan pre-"Float On" but after hearing the song I knew that I would be hooked on it like a new single from a popular singer or band. The same can be said for many other people. Before hearing Float On I felt like an ostrich trying to fit in with weird sheep. But now its the other way around. The sheep are abandoning their master because of a certain popularity gap that has widened. The thing other people say is that they changed their style of music. Ok, so they have. Now what? Now they'll recieve more cash and more funding to create more albums and maybe another one will catch your fancy. Get over it, and stop being so whiny. |
