Led Zeppelin – Celebration Day Lyrics 21 years ago
The reason he did that was because the beginning of Celebration Day was screwed up on the master tape when they recorded, so he just cut out the beginning of the song and used the synthesizer to cover it up so it sounded like it was supposed to be like that.

Awesome song. The first verse always reminds me of an insane person. But in a nice, funny way. =)

Led Zeppelin – Royal Orleans Lyrics 21 years ago
Haha, I'm from Louisiana and it's so funny to hear the best band in the world who are British talk about a city that is an hour away from me. =) And it's really funny that John Paul Jones picked up a transvestite hooker.

Ooops, I meant to type "few songs by Led Zeppelin that I don't have on a CD". Sorry. =)

Led Zeppelin – Hey Hey What Can I Do Lyrics 21 years ago
This song has been stuck in my head all day. It's one of the few songs that I don't have on a CD, but I've heard it on the radio and now I can't stop singing it. And yes, it is him being in love with a hooker. It's pretty obvious when you read the lyrics.

Led Zeppelin – All My Love Lyrics 21 years ago
This is such a sad song. Robert Plant's 5 year old son, Karac, died because of a stomach virus, and he wrote this song because of that.

Led Zeppelin – Communication Breakdown Lyrics 21 years ago
No joke! And I like the live version too (on BBC Sessions) where Robert Plant adds the parts about the lemons. =) I just think that's great.

Jimmy Page plays the mandolin for this.

Led Zeppelin – Boogie with Stu Lyrics 21 years ago
This song was just recorded as a jam session with Ian Stewart, who was the road manager and piano player for the Stones. And also, Robert Plant plays the guitar in this song, not Jimmy Page.

Led Zeppelin – D'yer Mak'er Lyrics 21 years ago
Oh, I love this song! I mean, I love pretty much everything I've heard by Zeppelin, but I really like this song. It just makes me feel like singing all the "oh, oh, oh, oh's" at the top of my lungs. It's got a great feeling to it.

The Rolling Stones – She's A Rainbow Lyrics 21 years ago
The strings is this song were arranged by John Paul Jones (the bassist for Led Zeppelin). That's pretty cool. =)

Led Zeppelin – Whole Lotta Love Lyrics 21 years ago
I LOVE this song. And yeah, I have to admit that I really like the middle of it too. It's just incredibly sexy for Robert Plant to be singing that. =)

Led Zeppelin – Black Dog Lyrics 21 years ago
This song is without a doubt about SEX. Here's a quote by Robert Plant: "Not all my stuff is meant to be scrutinized. Things like 'Black Dog' are blatant, let's-do-it-in-the-bath type things, but they make their point just the same."

Oh, and about the time signiture thing - here's something else: Contains complicated time signatures arranged by Jones, which Bonham ignored, playing a steady 4/4 beat instead. Jones thinks that is what made it work.
