yea, you really think john would write a song on an issue such as abortion? john didnt care. he was out to upset people and hope that people would take it literally and be pissed. which is why john lydon is one of my idols. sid isn't worth the words nor time mentioned in this message board. he was a body. the sex pistols didn't even need him. and dont even say that he made the pistols look punk because that was all johnny's doing. he's the real deal. |

| this song has inspired me to do a painting. "one day this chalk outline will circle this city" along with the rest of the lyrics will be written aside the picture. i cant wait to get started. anyways, the song (and much of the album) is dedicated to an artist who killed himself by injecting rat poisoning into his body amongst using other pills. the rat noises in the beginning of the song is linked to the way he killed himself, which is why those sounds are present. maybe instead of writing a song about that, they wrote it about the jumping off a building? i have no idea... | |
