As I don't listen to this band or know anyhting about them but this being the only song i know and u just saying the lead singers faith in god or whatnot i can see how this is related back to christianity, now i dont want anyone bitchin about me talkin about religion just cuz im not a christian, i use to be so i know what its all about and i still believes its true just chose not to follow it anymore. first of all: This captain goes down with the ship All hands on deck, stand hip-to-hip I shout the orders, "Shoot to kill!" And to the cannons roar, Their bodies dance ashore, A pirate's life for me, I won't go quietly. the battle begins, people die, hes living life the way he wants to (for his religion) and he wont give up no matter what people do, if he dies for his religion he'll use his last breathe to help out the fight. now i don't know if this is right or not as i know nothing about the band, but thats just my 2 cents |

| In Flames is a great band, I love all their stuff but what I particularly like about this song is the way they make it sound, it has a really sincere sound that when you listen to it you feel like your connecting with it. I don't know if anyone else feels the same way but it's a great song all together. | |

| what I can't believe is that no one is posting their comments to this song, I am a big slipknot and stone sour fan and I must admit, this shows a lot of talent, shows u that corey taylor can do more then just scream (according to some people). this is definately one of my favourite stone sours songs even though it is around 10 years old now | |

To me, I think this song is about a close friend of his, and everyone else didnt like that person ("Brush away all the thorns. And all the stones. You're my angel without wings") meaning he looked passed the person on the outside, and on the inside that person was his angel. That person then helped him through hard times, and were always there for each other. |
