on the Pitch line---- i thought that wood, especially boats, were covered with pitch (tar) to waterproof and prevent 'bloating' when at sea. So "heart felt good, it was drippin pitch and made of wood" to me would me that the person was impervious, or unaffected, by the situation or enviornment around them. So it sounds like being in love with a cold person/god, who doesn't experience things the same way a 'real' person would. |
