i can't decide if the part about thumbing the cool blade is referring to the blade of a knife or a blade of grass. if it were a knife blade it would go with the murder theory. but that whole part: 'I'm so nervous I'm so tense My heart can't forget about this self defense The air is so hot and my breath comes fast I thumb the cool blade but I know this can't last' sounds like trying to enjoy a moment but having it ruined by your own anxiety and pessimism. thumbing a blade of grass while lying in the sunshine...or something.. |
