This is probably the worst job of submitting lyrics I've ever seen. Ah Bloodhound Gang is once again bastardized. |

My boyfriend gave me a copy of these lyrics before we started going out. It's a sad song, but it means a lot to me. |

wait...is this the real song? i have the live at donington album and dvd, and it goes ALOT different...
she gave me her mind
then she gave me her body
but she gave it to anybody
but i made her cry
and i made her scream
then i took her high
and i curdled her cream
but how was i to know that she had been there before?
she told me she was a virgin
and i forget the rest...but yeah im watching it right now and thats how it goes |

wow nobody commented? its about how people think they are "punk" but the only thing they ever do is dye their hair and say they are hard core, never taking any real action for their convictions |

wow, need4creed. way to be a hypocrite. you say you dont want to hear about hypocrites singing about hypocritical things, with their "fucken dark cloths and their studded jewelry", but then you like the song. hmm. or mabye you're not being hypocritical, maybe you dont want people to get mad at you for not liking the song. interesting. |

there is no such thing as "punk." its a little bit of an oxymoron. if "punk" is just an expression of your individuality and non-conformity, then why are there stereotypes? i am definitly a "con-conformist" of sorts, but somehow im not quite a punk. does it have something to do with the fact i dont wear studded belts or have dyed spike hair? im not trying to be sarcastic or put anyone down, but the subject of "punk" and "non-conformist" is a very confusing and opinion-based issue. |

Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics

"There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings. "
the most genius words spoken in a rock song since "times that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines" in pink floyd's "time." those words are the keys to every good rock song, and everything in life. anything could have almost any meaning you want it to. led zeppelin understood this, i think, and wanted people to figure out what it meant to them for themselves.
note- YES i realize that this song came out before "time". i was referring to the fact that i listened to a lot of pink floyd before i got into led zeppelin. |

Madonna – American Pie (Don McLean cover) Lyrics

how could one truly good song be remade so freakin badly? this is the epiphany of "nothing is ever as good as the original." this song made me want to burn my guitar in protest and go screaming through the streets that this is the day the music died. |

i know im beating on a long-dead horse here, but im just going through all of the old posts- if bwoodmeyer is not joking, and seriously thinks that this song is originally by madonna, i am going to sell my guitars, burn my music papers and CD's, and quit my band. if people are this bloody ignorant about music, especially the most intricate and genius song ever written, there is no point in music anymore. if this is just the beginning of musical ignorance, then i am frightened to think that soon, people will think "brain damage" was written by psycologists, people will think every single Beatles song is about LSD or marijuana, and "another one bites the dust" has subliminal messages. but why stop at music? im sure the musically ignorant will interpret Alice in Wonderland as a description of an acid trip. For all you drug-history ignorant, LSD began to be manufactured in the 1940s. Alice in Wonderland was written in 1865. you do the math, and stop being musically ignorant. sorry for beating a dead horse, but it REALLY pissed me off. |

Queen – Bohemian Rhapsody Lyrics

This song, at least the music, is in a style from the 18th century, not used very much anymore...it goes from very low in the beginning, reaches the climax in the middle, and then tapers off to about the same speed/intensity as the beginning...how i like to look at this mini story is a "bohemian" would sing this on a sidewalk, you know and have the whole hat thing and be collecting change lol....really dumb, but i think its funny |

Queen – Another One Bites The Dust Lyrics

WHAT?? how does hamlet's soliloquy say "Frank Sinatra is God"? are you kidding me? Shakespeare wrote Hamlet hundreds of years ago!! Frank Sinatra is old, but not THAT old!!!
I think this song is either about Vietnam, or a large city with heavy gang activity. |
