From interview with Rob Pope in Beat Magazine (Australa) issue #907 21st April 2004: Although a bit of a self-indulgent question, I had to ask about my favourite song, I’m a Loner Dottie, a Rebel. Rob confessed, half chuckling, that it’s about “hanging out with a girl on tour then not being able to hang out with her anymore; it’s kind of a kiss-off really”. I say they're a pretty talented band being able to make a song about a groupie sound so heartfelt. |
