The Union Underground – Until You Crack Lyrics 23 years ago
Seems to me its about a heroin addict that got his brother and sister into it and now they're both addicts. I dunno, seems obvious to me.

The Union Underground – Turn Me On "mr. Deadman" Lyrics 23 years ago
evidently we have some beatles fanatic that sees something about the beatles in every single song he or she hears. very few if any modern rock songs have beatles references. Anyway, I have no idea what this song means and since I don't listen to slipknot, I wouldn't really be able to make that connection

The Union Underground – South Texas Deathride Lyrics 23 years ago
Its not "Color might even supaflys", its "Hell I might even sympathize" and its not "LIke i consider my super flys", its "Like I said I might sympathize." Anyway, this song kicks major ass and the band is amazing and I'm surprised more people haven't found out about them by now.

The Union Underground – Revolution Man Lyrics 23 years ago
And you know the true meaning of the song how? or is that just your opinion? Anyway, since this is my favorite song by UU, I must post something. It seems to me that the song is about a person who's wasted their life away doin drugs (most of Union Underground's songs seem to be about drugs, abuse and addiction). The "One more time and you'll be dead" may mean that if the person takes the drug again he'll either be dead in the literal sense or dead as in they'll never be able to break out of it and will always be of no value to the world. The chorus is kinda weird and I haven't been able to make a connection to most of it, but I think the "Listen while I load my gun" lyric is saying that the person may know that if he does that one more time he'll "die" but either ignores it or doesn't realize what it is. The last verse seems to say that the person did do whatever it was again and is therefore "dead", hence "Lucy's in the sky again". Thats what I picked up, could be wrong

The Union Underground – Killing The Fly Lyrics 23 years ago
Great song! Looks to me like this song is about marijuana addicts (Mary being Mary Jane) and about someone who was able to break out of the addiction and is now watching other addicts and trying to tell them that they're ruining their lives, but at the same time the reformed person is laughing at the stupidity of being addicted.

The Union Underground – Drivel Lyrics 23 years ago
For a group thats as good as Union Underground I'm surprised that no one has posted on here yet. Anyway, I've picked up that a lot of UU's songs seem to deal with drugs, drug abuse and drug addiction. This one obviously seems to be about an addiction to some kinda downer (tranquilizers maybe?) and how the addict loves it so much that he's never going to learn that he's destroying himself and ruining his life.

System of a Down – Jet Pilot Lyrics 23 years ago
This just came to me as i was reading the lyrics. Assuming this song was written after 9/11 this song could mean the following:
The horse is meant to be Osama bin Laden, the shackled old man is Osama on the run and the shackled part is that he doesn't have the ability to organize much of anything anymore, the horse's eyes are the eyes of Osama put in place of the members of his Al Qayda network (specifically those pilots used in the 9/11 attacks) so they are blinded by his mindset, the jet pilot is obviously the pilots that crashed into the trade centers and pentagon, and the great bay would seem to be the bay they would've had to fly over en route from boston to new york, and the sky going gray would be the dust and smoke from the towers when they fell.
This however does not explain the 2nd verse and I have no clue what that would mean. Oh well, thats what came to my mind.
