Actually, the line a few of you are referring to says:
"Some of those that WORK forces, are the same that burn crosses".
Like deltajoy said, it's not just about police brutality either. White supremists are everywhere including the police force, the military, etc etc. |

Thanks nayr for clarifying that specific line in this song because so many people are often confused by what that truly means. I've had to explain that to alot of my friends over the years in defense of Rage. People are often offended by the use of certain words without any regard to why the word is being used or within which context it's being used.

Yeah, this song is about Zack's dad, and I guess the only information that I can really add to what deltajoy wrote is that Zack had a hard time singing this song live (when he was still with Rage) and that it took him years to finally write it in the first place. I'm glad I got to see them perform it live (which I think they only did a handful of times) before they broke up. |
