First post... This song to me is about those people who fucking lie about everything they do to get ahead and once someone actually findt hem out they just smile and deny it, getting away once more. This song seems angry. |

Seems to be about fantasious sexual experiences. Many if not all of the parts of this song are talking about telling the other partner what to be and who would be the one turned on by it and such. Also makes a statement about dreaming about these experiences. "The one who isn't there/anywhere". Either way the meaning is there. |

Sort of an obvious-meaning song. Seems to be about someone who never got any from the opposite sex "been denied", so he tries it the other way around and found it perfect for him as he sings it throughout the whole song. Also it seems to state that if he didn't do this other better things could've been opened in life but it doesn't matter to him anymore. |

I agree with Soulfly about the people who say such things to get attention, but the song is a whole different story. It seems to be a note left behind by someone who already did die and the song is what's left of them to be remembered, since everything in the song is sung in past tone. The songs meaning though seems to just be a careless life where the person got no attention, no love, and had nothing so why keep going? Sadly that person didn't and now that the persons gone no one should feel sorry since they never tried anything before. |

This is my favorite song by Manson. It seems to be an anthem for the kids who were so easily closed their eyes to when they were doing the good things everyone wants, but when something bad happened they were punished thoroughly... And we all know this happens to many many people. It's so unfair, and they never deserve it. Why does bad always overrule the good that happens? It's another worldly fuck-up. This song shows that there will be some people who will stand up to the shit thrown at their face and show that they are no slave. They never will be, not once they take control. Also reference to the idiocy of people who show if one kid dies everyone knows about it, but if it's a plane crash they just simply show their names... Truly sad and angering. |

This song doesn't really need an opinion, everyones already said its basic meaning, I think. It's just about how the people with the more material things, (Beauty, power, whatever) will get higher in life because the world is just fucked like that. Makes references to religion as well. |

For me it seems this song is about someone who was born into this world as someone who was thrown away soon thereafter, but somehow was able to survive it and when he finally gains understanding of everything that happened in his life he will become the monster that the person who threw him away will fear, they will pray they never did it, pray it was just a dream because he will get his revenge. |

This song is obviously related to the JFK incident for the chorus part, but besides that I think the song carried a whole other meaning. It seems to be Marilyn Manson himself crying out for the idiots who see him as something conpletely different than what he is and when they find out who he is they'll be fucked over because they thought so differently before. They "raise their own sheep", they will "reap their own seeds"... |

My opinion in this song is strangely controversial to the ones posted here. Instead of drugs this could be the hardships of someone who's gained fame in what they do and when something happens that's so bad to that same person they become sad and lonely and destructive but to be able to go on in life materially they continue to do their entertainment job, which causes a sort of insanity within that one, since he is doing something completely against his will. He's turning his "tragedy" into "magic", for the viewers, and he's not doing it because he wants to, it's for his own personal material needs. The hat is wearing him. |

This song is obvious to me that it's about kids who don't get enough attention or even care in their life by parents, or any other adults, and only found their peace between other pained kids, and someday they'll have their revenge because they're not disposable. I also think it has some meaning to the whole view about people who say they want something but at the same time they fuck up, hypocritically. |

This song is in my eyes about someone, it could be any of us which masks their loneliness, perhaps a tragedy of some sort in the past which may have occured with a smile and that blank undecipherable look that they have. They wish there was a sort of drug to be able to change it all but there'll never be, so it seems that the only way out would be to leave this world... |
