After a search on Yahoo, "H Model" probably refers to an acoustic guitar made by the Santa Cruz Guitar Company (http://www.santacruzguitar.com/scgc_cat_h.htm). Assuming that "Forsdale" is not an obscure reference to someone or a personal friend. It could refer to Dr. Louis Forsdale who was a professor at the Teachers College at Columbia University. It appears that he was involved with music and communications. He is also credited in a few school textbooks. I'm am not convinced that this is what it is and it doesn't explain the syringe part; however, when you search for "Forsdale" he is pretty much the only name that comes up. At the same time, given what the rest of the song appears to be about, regardless of who Forsdale may be, what the line amy be referring to is someone trying to inject new life into the band, industry, etc., but after a while it gets harder and harder. And with each injection of life (BTW, I am not making a drug reference of any kind.) the syringe wears thinner until their is nothing left. |
