| SHIT!!! This song is so emotionally charged. I'd bet that Ben has actually put himself or thought of putting himself in this particular situation just to avoid telling his girl something and pissing her off, because either way the bitch might be willing to ditch him just to have fun for the night. So instead of risking all of this, he would much rather go outside and wait for her. And while waiting, the bitch has no realization of where he is and still having fun without him being there. OUCH!!! And much like me in my previous relationship, he is putting himself aside just to keep what he wants...her. Man, he really puts good detail on just how much he is suffering and willing to suffer only to wait for her. My best wishes for Armor For Sleep, they are one of the most talented groups that I have had the pleasure of discovering. | I got it.. "El manana" means him tomorrow. I think that "Summer" is a girl and not a season. And that summer was with 2d but will be with "El Manana" (him tomorrow, another man). "Summer don't know me" could mean that she doesn't want to know him anymore. And the "eager man" could be another man that wanted summer and maybe even has her. Maybe that guy was a littlel more eager to have summer. "Cause I do know, Lord, from you that just died. Could mean that2D believes that it is Gods will for that relationship to be over. I saw that day, Lost my mind, Lord I'll find could mean that he realized one day that she didn't love him anymore and he lost it (his mind), but that he remains alive and hopeful that he will get it back. The lyrics are wrong, 2D says "Don't stop the buck when it comes, It's the dawn, you'll see." I think that means that you shouldn't pass up the opportunity to make more money because once you are financially stable its the dawn of a new you. I mean really you have all the freedom to do what you want. It's the dawn of your life. but "money won't get there" could also mean that money isn't everything. "Ten years passed tonight" could mean that the duration of their relationship has left the same way the she has from one day to the next. "You'll flee, If you do that, I'll be some to fiind you" are the correct lyrics but I think what he means is that he will carry a torch for her and maybe even look for her. I don't know for sure. | I think "no more gold lights for the queen earth" means that he will no longer see his girl in the candle light because she has left him. Somebody told me that Chino is single again. Is that true? I don't know. If so, I'm sure he'll find another. Anyway, I used to call my ex-fiance my earth because she meant the world to me. I would also call her my queen because ahe looked and felt like one. I think about her whenever I hear this song, I love the Deftones!!! Anyway, "...to keep you warm in your kingdoms" could mean that she would find comfort or warmth within her day-to-day situations or "kingdoms." "High on the waves that you made for us..." could mean that he is "high" or amazed to have been to have been part of a love affair. She probably used to do nice things for him to keep him happy, and when a woman keeps her man happy, the man will usually repond in the same manner. If they do these nice things for each othere over an over, their love will continue to live, hence "the waves you made for us." I believe that not all couples get to experience love. I believe that some couples get together for convieniance, sex, money, or maybe lust, and that only a few relationships are based on love. A cool way to explain the "waves" would be to think of brainwaves, pulse, etc. For example, whenever you are alone, there are very little "waves" traveling through your body. But when the person you love is standing right next to you, the "waves" should be moving throughout yor entire body. But, I also think he is aware that she is going to venture out and maybe sleep with other people, and this might bother him. It's kind of wierd to admit, but my ex began seeing some guy the same week that she left me, and I could totally see that she was interested in this guy. So all I could think about was when that f*#king guy was going to sleep with my ex. I was going f*#king crazy. My ex wasn't easy or anything, it's just that I knew that they were going to be involved and sooner or later that f*#ker would impress my ex with his money and little rich boy ways. | I fucking love this song!!!! The lyrics sound like wicked thoughts that come to mind whenever I find a new "Special Someone." Ofcoarse, I would never tell this to a girl...but Shirley has put it in a song. It's simply brilliant!!! Another comment that I would like to add is that I love the way that Shirley sings "Lets make out in the back of your car." She sort of swings her voice around as she is singing. Anyway, I also want to mention that this song was written by a female, and that I think she is kind of ruthless with the way she handles her game. For example, "I might have to sort you out if you don't do it right," and "If you can keep me happy then you can stick around." So guys... This song is without a doubt on the the best songs by Garbage. The song is self explanitory, however the views mentioned are unusual. What I mean to say is that most women today are caught up with materialistic things, but in this song, Shirley mentions that she doesn't need that. All she wants is someone strong, and someone to love. In addition, I think she is also talking about the previous mistakes of a past relationship. Above all Garbage is the best group ever!!!!! |

| I'm not sure what Trant was thinking, but f**king a ho comes to mind whenever I hear this song. It's almost as though he is singing to a ho (groupie) and that he can get her to do almost anything. | I'm sure that she wants to kill "Johnny." But ask "Why?" Usually females don't go off the deep end like this unless someone has hurt them beyond belief. I think that rape was involved because it truly is a tragic and criminal act for women. First, she says "this is jezebel in hell" and if I remember correctly jezebel is the queen (or something) in the underworld, meaning that she is evil and in her own hell.
