"Outraged" best described my mental state when I first heard this. I sincerely hope that Sarah McLachlan's lawyers are going to consider sueing this bunch of talentless posers for butchering her beautiful song. |

Ah, this brings me back to memories of my teens...cute. Its a sweet little song, which Robbie later massacred at one of his shows (hehe, cheeky lil devil!). The 'That: best of the boybands. Whether that is a good or a bad thing, depends on your POV ;) |

This is so sweet...Tara is singing to Willow about her love for her. Amber Benson (Tara) has such a pretty voice, and hits the high notes effortlessly. However, how Joss Whedon and co. got the "Floating O" scene past the censors is anybodys guess...cunning linguists, indeed *g* |

Oh. My. Gosh. I haven't laughed so much in ages at a song...simply hysterical! To non-Buffy fanatics, this song (indeed, the entire musical episode) probably makes not the slightest bit of sense, but to this seasoned fan it is an absolute treat. Emma Caulfield and Nicholas Brendon (Anya and Xander) are a riot and give as spirited a performace as you're likely to see. |

Wow! Go Sarah Michelle Gellar! Although she doesn't have the strongest voice in the world by any stretch of the imagination, SMG gives a gutsy vocal performance in this opening number of "Once More, With Feeling" (the actual name of the Buffy musical episode). It is great to listen to on CD, but if you miss the episode you are REALLY missing out, believe me :) |

You can say what you like about the Eurovision song contest, but without it, would the world have heard of Abba?
This song won the Eurovision in 1976 and the rest, as they say, is history. |

This song first appears on her "Solace" album and is, unsurprisingly, quite brilliant. However, for the soundtrack to The X Files movie in 1998 it has been reworked by William Orbit and as a result, surpasses the original. Sheer brilliance. |

S Club 7 take us back to the 70's with this discotastic choon. I know that whenever this song comes on in a club, there isn't anyone left not on the dancefloor. 'Nuff said :) |

Excellent reworking of the classic Three Dog Night song. Richard Patrick's screaming vocals, combined with some pretty nifty guitar riffs make this a joy to listen to...with the volume turned up LOUD! |

One of my favourite songs, not only for the catchiness of the tune but the immortal lyric:

| Melanie Doane – I Can't Take My Eyes Off You Lyrics

I first heard this song in an episode of "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and thought it was a beautiful little track. So, thanks to the magic of the internet, I discoved that it was by the very talented Canadian songstress Melanie Doane and I now number her among my favourite artists.
Btw, Mel wrote this song about her tv set...though that last line in the third verse has me thinking there's a double entendre in there somewhere ;-) |

I adore this song but I confess to having a little blurb to share with y'all...for ages I thought that yer man Thom was singing "I'm a creep, I'm a window!" instead of the actual "I'm a creep, I'm a weirdo" lyric! Yep, me silly :P |

| Máire Brennan – Perfect Time Lyrics

I heard this wonderful song for the first time last night, when making a CD as a Valentine's gift for my girlfriend (it's her favourite song) and have been enchanted by it ever since. Listening to this song, you'll probably think "hmmm, she sounds kinda like Enya" and you'd be right: she DOES sound a lot like Enya, due in no small amount to the fact that she is her sister.
However, Máire is a wonderful singer in her own right and this song is proof of that. Have a listen to it, and be mesmerised by the talent of this one-time lead singer of Clannad :) |

You can say what you like about "Whacko Jacko", but you can't deny that some of his songs are the greatest in pop music history. Need proof? Listen to this song. Better yet, watch the video and be completely awestruck (the video to this song btw, was recently voted THE greatest music video of all time by VH1). |

Ok...I like this song because *my* name is Elaine! Yeah, I know, it's a pretty sad reason to like a song but heck, I can pretend that Abba are singing about me! (JOKE! I do NOT actually do that!...when sober, that is) |

Wow, what a turn around in genre for the 'Foos...a gorgeous little ditty that dwells in the subconscious long after the CD has stopped spinning.
There are two versions of this song: one appears on "The Colour And The Shape" and the second (and better version, IMHO) is on "The X Files" movie soundtrack. But to make up your own mind, you should go buy 'em both! |

This song means *everything* to me. It is simply the most beautiful song ever performed, and aptly named...Sarah McLachlan indeed has the voice of an "Angel". |
