He also made songs about people taking him to seriously. Have you ever listened to them? (The way I am, Who Knew, Sing For The Moment, When the music stops, Stan, Marshall Mathers) - try listening to them before saying such dumb ass shit - you are no better than all them fucked up critics giving him shit about his lyrics. . . I love this song, and the whole message (my oppinion about the message, anyways =O) ). . . I've heard it many times, over and over again, and I just can't help loving it =O)
I think this song is actually about some trouble he'd gotten after some song - either from a person or just trouble in the big picture. . . . 'Cause he says in verse 12-13 he actually says "If you never heard the song, then I could still hide down behind the wall". And then this is his way of saying he's sorry, but that it was an quick impulse, that he didn't really mean anything by. . .

Well, I think the last three verses simply meens, that "she" tells him, that he can't "escape" her, and that he's going to fall in again, and then he simply says, that it won't be with her. . . . . |
