| The title, "Three Libras," has, from day one, suggested to me a love triangle of sorts (anyone know Maynard's sign?). I was once involved in a kooky love triangle, involving two Libras and a Scorpio, and the song just fit perfectly. "Difficult not to feel a little bit disappointed and passed over." Whoever is the subject of this song obviously feels a little short-handed about the focus of his affection's admiration-- namely, it's not him. "Here I am expecting just a little bit too much from the wounded," may even suggest that the subject's love is stuck on a previous relationship that ended badly. Little bit o' personal experience applied to the song in this case, but it fits oh so deliciously. | |
