ok.... you guys are silly... i mean... i didn't read every comment... but yur all kinda right. as far as the love aspect, thats all true, and the heroin stuff.... well damn that makes sense as well. what i think you guys aren't getting is that he's comparing the high he gets from heroin and this chick... so its not realy about drugs... not directly. |

I think it's everything pretty much everyone said. I think that whoever the speaker is (paresumably Billy), he hsa thrown himself into love, not even love, obsession. Definatly one of the sweet aspects... the fact that our little Billy is so infatuated and motivated and feels so much love it seems he shows no regard for the person whom he talk about. I think yes, the woman he is singing about is in a different state of love, its debatable in different degrees. either way, it prety much goes without saying BIlly loves this girl more than she loves him. It's very interpretive, and one of my favorite sp songs, so i might post more later... |
