This has to be one of the greatest love songs ever written. Basically, Brandon is saying that nothing in the universe compares to him being with his girlfriend. Thats a pretty big compliment. Hence, the reason this song is based in outer space. And the way that the music accompanies the lyrics is amazing. It sounds so "out of this world" |

Ok, You are ALL wrong so far. Not every damn song on Morning View is about his break-up. There's a lot more to Boyd than a broken heart. He wouldn't waste away a whole album about a break-up when theres a million other, more important things he could write about. The message of this song is clear. "No I was not around, when those eyes of yours decided so, I refuse to kneel before the sights you choose to see." What he's saying is, He disagree's with something, it could be anything, and when that something was decided, he was not around, and had no say in it. And now that he is around, he feels he has the right to defy it, because, in the beginning, he had no say in it. Simple as that. Now, back to the whole Morning View Break Up B/S. Yes, there are a few songs about the break-up, Blood on The Ground, Mexico, Circles, and I believe thats it. Whoever said "Nice To Know You" is about a break up, they're wrong. To me, this song is about a girl that Tony Lavato(lead singer) is in love with. And cant be with her because of the distance. And she doesent want to commit, but he does. And he feels like he's wasting his time waiting for something to happen. |
