And as for the anniversary, well, he sucks, I listened to DC long before they were ever on MTV, I don't watch the stuff and there is no good radio around here. Same with Jimmy Eat World. Who cares if they got on MTV, more power to them for getting out their message to a wider audience. Quit being so narrowed minded and nonconformist, playing to million of people on MTV is way better than playing to clubs of 10, even if the message is often lost on such a wide audience. Us true fans still get it. And accoustic guitar is the best hands down, buddy. Take Counting Crows. Not emo, but one of the best darn bands ever regardless. And little screaming girls, stop going to see Dashboard, I want to hear more whining! *goes away pondering why people who don't understand emo post on things like this...* |

"Your hair is everywhere." Her hair isn't literally everywhere, as in it fell out everywhere, it's everywhere, as in messed up, as someone who just had an affair. Really think about that for a second, her hair is all over the apartment? What kind of girl is this, a dog in summer? No, it's screaming infedility, because it's messed up, and he knows she's been messing around.
As for the best DC song... "This Brilliant Dance" and "This Bitter Pill," not seperately, but as one piece which is kind of contradictory and perfectly balanced, it's great. "Living in Your Letters" and "The Places That You've Come to Fear the Most" are probably the best stand alone DC songs though. |

I don't think either of you fully grasp the magnitude of this thing. Come on. It's always out of reach. I'm so pessimistic... the music depresses me in a sweet uplifting sort of emotional geyser/waterfall. I honestly can't make up my mind whether to smile or cry. Go Get Up Kids though.
