OK, this song is somewhat *obviously* about divorce, just the title tells you that... but I've always believed that songs (just like any other form of art) have many interpretations, and each one of us takes them as he/she wishes... Just last night I was listening to this song and I started to cry... I'm in a sad situation right now where 2 close friends are not speaking to me, and while I was listening I suddenly realized how very sad it is not to express our true feelings, not to say what we mean, specially to those who are close to us and those who matter more than anything... We take for granted so many things, and we hurt the people that we love... and all we have to do is COMMUNICATE... Great song, great melody, super lyrics, great band... THANKS, BLINK182! |

| I can totally relate to this song... I haven't done it either (taking drugs), but I can understand the desire to feel COMFORTABLY NUMB.... not to feel any pain, no to feel anything whatsoever... sometimes life just hurts so much :( | |
