I meant to say 14 yr olds but when I deleted the 14 I forgot about "year old" part.
Yea I guess he worked on it pretty hard when he didn't add the second verse. When I posted these lyrics it was a copy and paste job and I didn't check for accuracy. And in case you were wondering you thick-headed fuck I have listened to songs over and over again to get the lyrics. In fact a lot of the demos you see on the Linkin Park page are figured out by myself even before www.robengel.com put the lyrics up on his site.
You know what whould be nice? If linkin park would include the lyrics in the booklet like they did on HT. |

If you really wanna cry like a little baby about whose lyrics they are why don't you go through Linkin Park's lawyers and try to get them copyrighted for yourself and then get laughed at because they are not your lyrics to begin with.

How do you steal someone's lyrics when Linkin Park is the one who wrote them. So i guess your saying that if I copy the lyrics out of the Hybrid Theory booklet thing than that means I'm stealing them. I think your the idiot.
Stealing lyrics is when you take credit for writing lyrics that someone else came up with. And that is not what i'm doing. |

I have a pretty good feeling that this song is about the world we live on and all of the abuse it takes from the people who live on it (US)
For Example in the song when it says "It starts with one..." well, that can mean a lot of things; One human, one disaster, etc.
"Watch the time go right out the window..." could imply that the world has turned cold (not tempauture) with pollution, plauge, war, etc. and nobody really took the time to enjoy what was around them while they still can.
There are many more examples. Watch the video, listen to the lyrics carefully and you'll see that there is more to the song than most people think. And whoever thinks the song is about a torn relationshp than I advise you to expand your mind. Maybe the official song meaning of the song is (god forbid) about a torn relationship, but Linkin Park is not your typical band. They want you to use your minds and make of their songs whatever you want. |

I think maybe the song is called cure for the itch Joe Hahn (The DJ) does all of that scratching on the turntables. So I guess what they mean is that Joe's scratching represents scratching an itch. |
