This song is outstanding !! The lyrics have to be the forte. I've never heard "pre-occupied" used in a song recently (paragraph 1), but it's a wonderful 1-3 sylabble run. Very poetic. My interpretation of the song is he's on the break with a girl who is doing the breaking. I think she's breaking due to "irreconsilable differences." My only evidence for that last part is the best line in the song: "There's oceans in between us, but that's not very far." I mean, what a great thought; and perfectly expressed with that line. Overall, the song is greatly above average, but there are some lyrical diamonds in there that makes the song first-class. I'm sure I'm off though. Any comments ?? |
