Well... After reading almost ALL of your comments I have a personnal explanation of the song... Combining Drugs, the death of a friend or brother(or maybe a friend who was like a brother to serj): So: Maybe the friend/brother was a drug addict. Maybe the scars are the wounds from the needles from the syringe. So: "Wake up Grab a brush and put alittle makeup Hide the scars to fade away the shakeup" Hide the needle scars "Why did you leave the keys upon the table" well maybe the friend was suicidal an in one of his trips found the keys of a car on the table and went out and crashed... "Here go create another fable" A fable in his trip... The whole "you wanted to" means the guy wanted it... "I don't think you trust in my self righteous suicide" are maybe the words of the friend "I cry when angels deserve to die" are the words of the singer(song writter) Well it might sound bad(i don't agree with it) but maybe he deserved to die because his whole life tortured him... But he was an angel... The father part is probably from the new testament(i haven't looked for it yet)... So god forsaken him... Maybe I'm just stupid but i think my explanation somehow makes sense... I'd like to hear answers on that |
