This song was simply just a favorite of mine until last June a dear friend was killed in a car accident. We played softball together for years, and now that the season has begun and she's not here to share it with any of her former teammates, this song means a little more to me. I remember when I was about 5 (I'm 16 now) I used to run around my living room with this cd blasting. When this song came on, I used to sit with my legs crossed and just sway. Yea...I was an odd child, still am. Anyway, I love this song and it really reflects growing up and growing apart. |

Just wanted to comment on the whole TB and how they're going punk: I used to get Teen and YM ( why, not quite sure, I never actually read them, just liked the pics/ads) and one of the features was how to "dress punk". it was all this expensive designer shit w/ red & black plaid and safety pins - quite pathetic. Well, in a later issue, a reader wrote in complaining about how shallow these people are to simply be able to put say a whole genre of music dresses like that and if you too want to be "punk" you can do it too. Yea...I agree. These magazines are producing a whole generation of wannabes and look-alikes, and I'm @ the tail end, not too cool. But yea, these guys are awesome and I'm no TB |

I find this song to be up there with one of the few rap songs that actually have meaning and feelings behind it. It goes back to the early 90's and late 80's when rappers, even though they were somewhat of a mockery, rapped what they really felt, not about how much money, bitches, cars and other shit they have. Most rappers today speak of the gangster life as a great life to live, but Nas raps about the dark side to it, a side more people should see. |

I remember sitting on my bed at like 1230 one night trying to get my homework finished and this song came on the new music show or whatever it is on the radio station I was listening too. I'm glad they're on the radio or I might not have heard them, but not so glad because for awhile they were being played a lot and that's not good. But I do love this song and this band and all of their other songs. Mad props. |

This song is so beautiful. I can't identify with it, but I absolutely love hearing his voice and the melodic music. I have both a live version and then this version and the lyrics change slightly, but its still so wonderfully amazing. All of their songs I've listened to are amazing and I can say I seriously love these guys. Bravo. |
