now this is what i call a good blink 182 song! the first time i heard this song..i knew i was going to be a fan! ive loved them since. i dont like the whole POP scene taking over their minds..but im not going to drop my favorite band of all time just because a couple teeny boppers think their hotties.."I love you Mark!"..."Ooooh Travis...BLINK ME!"..."Tom your so hot!"...la de da..i go to their concerts now and see little girls and boys running around..dressed like punkers..ugh...that bothers me..but oh well..i still love blink..and i will never stop loving them! |

this song is so awesome...everytime i hear the beginning with the violin solo i just want to get up and shake my bootay! its very evergizing and amazing lyrics as well...YC is so amazing..ryans voice is a perfect fit for the emotion coming from the lyrics...and the violin just adds to the amazement..oh my golly..YC ROCKS! This song explains almost exactly how I feel about my ex-boyfriend. Only I'd change the lyric "When your with your boyfriend" because he doesnt have a boyfriend, or a girlfriend for that matter. Id change it to "When your with your friends" and it would work perfectly. |

this song always reminds me of my ex-boyfriend. the first time he played it for me i actually wasnt paying attention, but when i bought Drive Thru Records, 'Welcome to the family' comp, I listened to it all the way through and I cried. My ex researched the song and told me what the song meant, and it was just such a passionate song, i fell in love with it. When we broke up, i couldnt listen to this song for a while because it would make me so upset. I listen to it almost everyday now, and still think of him. Sometimes I think the line "when the first star you see may not be a star....I'm not your star..." relates to me. I thought he was the right one for me, but he must not be my star. This song is just the type of song that people can relate to, and thats awesome. |
